Where Probiotics are found.

To obtain the most significant benefits from probiotics, supplements are often necessary.  Most frequently, probiotic supplements come in the form of capsules or powders.

But beware:  Not all probiotic products are created equally!  The probiotic industry is not currently regulated!  Studies have repeatedly shown that probiotic products from different manufacturers vary tremendously.  Some products don't contain any where near the numbers of live microorganisms that they claim to possess.  Other products have even been found to contain different strains of bacteria than they claim!

As a result, it is essential to only use products that have been shown to be safe and effective!

As consumers, you don't want to waste your money on a product that contains few (if any) live bacteria when you purchase it.  Likewise, you don't want to purchase a product that doesn't possess a strain of bacteria that has truly been found to be safe and effective.

Karpa can assist in selecting products that possess strains of bacteria that have truly been studied and that have good track records for yielding positive health benefits.

What about yogurt?  Eating yogurt is a good start.  At the same time, however, you will get more "bang for your buck" if you choose an appropriate probiotic supplement.  A single capsule of an appropriate probiotic supplement contains as many live, beneficial bacteria as you would find in as many as 6 to 70 cups of yogurt!  I hope you're hungry!
